Everybody, meet Nick!

TOMS asked Warm & Fuzzy to create an upbeat and engaging take on mental health that would introduce their collab collection with Happiness Project and raise awareness to TOMS' partner mental health organizations.

I built out the creative direction for Nick’s story from narrative and initial concepts, through to the final execution. The video and all design assets were then distributed through TOMS’ omni-channel business strategies in the US and EMEA regions.

After the campaign launch, Little Black Book and I talked about the behind-the-scenes of this campaign, mental health and its importance in a creative’s daily life.

Nick’s Mental Health Story


Nick is the face of Happiness Project, helping share awareness about mental health. We brought him into TOMS’ world, developing a campaign visual language with heartwarming humor and positive mindset.

The creative challenge was developing a unique design approach to bring Nick’s story to life that aligned with Nick’s doodle-like style.

For that, we went with bold, hand-drawn graphics and a mixed media approach – 3D, 2D, cel and product photography. We also produced 20+ animated assets for paid media and web to be used in the campaign deliverables.
